How Business Tools Studio spreadsheets work
Our downloadable Excel tools help service businesses organize pricing, lead follow-up and cash planning without a software subscription. Choose one workbook or the complete three-tool bundle.
1. Choose a tool for the business question you want to answer
Use the Pricing & Profit Toolkit to estimate the costs and contribution margin of individual jobs. Use the Client Pipeline Tracker to keep quotes and follow-up dates in one place. Use the Cash Flow & Invoice Tracker to log receipts, payments and unpaid invoices. Buy the three-tool bundle to get all three.
2. Download after payment
Shopify provides the download link after your order has been successfully processed. Single-product purchases contain an Excel (.xlsx) file. The three-tool bundle contains a ZIP archive of three workbooks; extract it before opening the Excel files.
3. Open the START HERE tab
Each workbook includes brief instructions and fictional example numbers. The examples show the calculations but are not actual client data or typical industry rates.
4. Enter your own numbers and review the results
Replace sample values in the input cells. The spreadsheet uses formulas to show estimates based on your entries. The workbooks are independent and don't automatically share data, send messages, or sync with other software.
5. Revisit the numbers as your business changes
Update prices, assumptions, leads, invoices, receipts and expenses as needed. Check calculations and compare them with actual financial records before making decisions. None of these tools guarantees a result.
Common questions
Do I need Excel? Microsoft Excel on a computer is recommended. Other spreadsheet apps might open files but compatibility is not guaranteed.
Is this a subscription? No. All current products are sold for a one-time price.
Can I use the bundle on iPhone? You can download and extract the ZIP with the iPhone Files app; desktop Excel offers a more suitable editing experience.
